Day two of Training Camp Hamble – Train, train, train
After we repaired the B&G mast-top-unit this morning we went out for sailing after lunch. The conditions where better then Sunday, a lighter breeze around 16 to 20 knots.

Day one of Training Camp Hamble –No La Rochelle, but Nose dives and Topspeeds-
Yesterday we decided not to sail the Cowes - La Rochelle this year. The boat is very new and there will be a lot of breeze during the race. The course is almost 70% upwind which isn’t the best course to test the new boat.

Training for La Rochelle
After the delivery, from Breskens to the Hamble, which was done by Bram and Vincent the boat was prepared for the Cowes- La Rochelle offshore (450 nautical miles). In the afternoon the boat sailed to Cowes to pick-up the guys who sailed Cowesweek and to sign-in at the race-office for the Cowes – La Rochelle. The conditions where quite breezy, with 18 to 20 knots.

Nitro-kites & rocketspeeds
After a week optimizing the Lutra 42, the Seawolf 2 was ready to go for sail trials on Saturday. With a shortage on crew, special thanks to the Cowes week, we decided to go out for sail-testing with 6 people. After arriving at Breskens and preparing the boat we sailed out, the conditions were good : 14-17 knots of wind with waves of about 0.5 meters.

Tour de Corse 2007
Elk jaar in oktober vertrekt vanuit Bonifacio de Tour de Corse à la Voile. Aan de vooravond van de start bepalen de schippers door stemming in welke richting er rond het eiland wordt gevaren. In de editie 2007 besloten de dertig deelnemers de 250 zeemijl tegen de wijzers van de klok in af te leggen.
